OVERNIGHT CAMP (ENTERING GRADES 1-7)

Camp Silver Creek has been a magical place for children and adults since it first opened in 1938. Campers love the dramatic setting, the fun, well-organized activities, and the friendships they form. Parents love the safety, healthy break from screen time, fresh air and exercise, and the maturity their kids gain during their weeks at camp.

The emphasis on respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring invite campers to explore their own moral foundations. Campers return changed, more independent, with an identity in a special world. Most staff are former campers.

Located deep inside Silver Falls State Park, the grounds include a dining hall, recreation hall, arts and crafts lodge, heated pool, and a small lake. Four residential units, plus an infirmary and staff cabins, surround a huge open field, all surrounded by miles of private hiking trails and woods. Each unit consists of six open-air camper cabins plus two leader cabins, restrooms, and a unit lodge. The unit lodges, dining hall, and recreation hall all feature huge stone fireplaces for cozy rainy day activities.

Daily activities include field games, hiking, archery, rock climbing, swimming, creek walking, arts and crafts, all-camp Twilight Games, and a campfire with songs and skits. Non-denominational chapel and cabin times encourage campers to reflect on what they are learning. All summer, from the early-morning Polar Bear Club to campfire at night, campers engage in activities that are fun, challenging, and memorable. Register now.

OVERNIGHT TEEN CAMP (GRADES 8-10)

Teen camp follows the same format with opportunities for more challenging adventures. Teen campers are housed in a different unit from younger campers. Register now.

LEADER IN TRAINING (LIT) (GRADES 10-12)

Our camp staff members are the repositories of tradition, experience, and love that transform lives each summer, year after year and generation after generation, both at Camp Silver Creek and at Camp Greider. LIT Camp is where future staff start the transition from campers to leaders, with an intensive week of leadership and safety training followed by a week of assisting an experienced cabin counselor. LITs must complete an application and interview process. Register now.
